The ratings for yesterday's top ten rookies revealed. Penei Sewell, Detroit Lions first round pick was one of Mut 22 Coins the players who were awarded their first Madden rating.Sewell's 75-rated overall rating makes Sewell one of the highest-rated rookie offensive linemen. This shouldn't come as a surprise, considering that the much desired Oregon product was also the very first to be drafted. 
 
Atlanta's tight end Kyle Pitts, the fourth pick in the current NFL Draft, leads the class of the new rookies with an 81 overall rating at the start of the draft. Two other players chosen after Sewell at the time of the draft in April got overall scores over him Denver's Patrick Surtain II and Philadelphia's DeVonta Smith.
 
Last year the Lions selected in the draft's first round Jeff Okudah received a average of 76. However, after an injury-plagued season, it will be interesting to see how it is that he gets in Madden this year.
